We are formed of a team of consultants who work with our clients on an array of legal matters, including intellectual property strategies, trade mark and design registrations, human resource support, contracts and more.
We want our clients to feel comfortable and at home whilst working with us, just as they would with their own in-house legal team. For our consultants, we want to provide an opportunity for excellent and accomplished individuals with legal backgrounds to work with interesting clients on interesting work in a different, more flexible and family friendly way.

HOW WE WORK
We operate in much the same way as an in-house lawyer would. We provide as many services as we can ourselves, calling on our consultants' specific areas of expertise and, when we can't help, we find someone who can calling on our network of lawyers at top city firms. We know that things happen at different speeds and at different times and with this in mind, we can work with clients on a specific project or on an ongoing basis as they prefer.

We believe strongly that freelance talent is a valuable source for our clients and this should not be limited to just lawyers. Our founder is Daisy Dier James. Daisy is an Oxford University graduate and alumnus of Bird & Bird LLP, a firm renowned for its intellectual property expertise.
In her role as Founder/Director, she acts as the first port of call for all clients and works with them to identify what services they require. In her role as IP Consultant, Daisy advises clients on their intellectual property strategies and trade mark and design registration applications.
Daisy teams the knowledge and experience gained from practicing at a top tier international law firm with a commercially focused mindset and a true love of the creative industries to offer advice which is effective, cost-efficient and pragmatic.

HOUSE : LAW is a consultancy practice. It is not regulated by the Solicitors Regulatory Authority as it is not required to be for the services we provide.
